100 things about me

1. I was born and raised in Toronto.
2. I'd love to live in and experience another city before I settle down.
3. I'm not the most patient person. I'd like to think I am but in all honestly I can lose my patience rather quickly.
4. I'm slightly slightly OCD. I haven't been officially diagnosed or anything but I just know I am.
5. However, it's not so bad that it interrupts me from functioning in my day-to-day life...but sometimes it annoys me.
6. I can be easily annoyed sometimes.
7. I love eggs. I can eat them any time of the day (or night).
8. I recently discovered and fell in love with eggs benedict. Yummy...
9. I love to travel and have serious wanderlust. I haven't visited a quarter of the countries I want to.
10. Sometimes I fantasize about quitting my job and backpacking for an extended period of time.
11. I'm thisclose to being satisfied with creating a smokey eye on myself.
12. I've often thought of trying to be a vegetarian for a week or so but I love chicken too much...and seafood.
13. Ever since I got a puppy I religiously watch At The End of My Leash. Brad's seriously hardcore. I love it.
14. I quite enjoy several shows on The Family Channel (that's the Disney channel in the US I think) including: That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, Smart Guy, The Proud Family, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Ned's Declassified School Survival, and many others. Seriously. I do.
15. I can't wait to plan my wedding. It's going to be amazing. I've already got several ideas.
16. I'm a major planner.
17. I used to have my tongue pierced. I removed it when I was 23 because I was over it. Plus it was so far back people barely noticed it. I liked it that way. Like a little surprise.
18. My belly button is also pierced.
19. I have 3 tattoos - each means something to me.
20. My favourite classes in school were english and history.
21. Anyone who knows me totally sees the connection.
22. I have a total of 5 siblings. Older and younger.
23. I officially got over my *first* crush last year.
24. It took 13 years. I didn't know crushes lasted that long so maybe he was actually my first love.
25. And though we went through a lot of shit...I still find myself, every once in a blue moon, thinking about him.
26. But I won't go there again. Ever. Honestly.
27. I have a list of potential girls names and boys names. See #16.
28. I'm a lucid dreamer. Not all the time but - enough. (and apparently, after just reading the wiki description of the two kinds of lucid dreamers the 'dreamers' and the 'naturals' i'm a 'nautral' - the luckier one ha ha!)
29. If I didn't work in PR maybe I'd be an event planner.
30. Or a travel writer.
31. Or an Egyptologist.
32. Or a high school teacher - the thought of getting youth excited about and interested in history and English excites me.
33. Or an interior designer.
34. Maybe I'll still be any one of those things.
35. Clearly I don't know what exactly I want to do yet.
36. One of my best friend's thinks I should be an anthropologist.
37. I didn't really buy my first perfume until I was 24. I wasn't really drawn to anything before then.
38. I have a girl crush on Angelina Jolie. She can do no wrong in my book.
39. I have a guy crush on Johnny Depp.
40. And Wentworth Miller.
41. I refuse to believe he is gay until I see photographic evidence...or he confirms it.
42. In search of a hobby I took up photography almost 2 years ago.
43. I really enjoy it.
44. But I haven't taken it as seriously as I'd like to.
45. My dream car is a mercedes hardtop convertible.
46. I don't know what model. I've just always wanted one.
47. My dream home is a rundown brownstone that I'd renovate into a breathtaking beauty.
48. This likely wont happen anytime soon and for this reason I'm living vicariously through Mrs. Limestone of Adventures in Renovating.
49. I've never smoked, anything, in my entire life.
50. I only drink socially.
51. I've never been drunk.
52. My sister would dispute that and would recall the time I stood on the corner and mooned cars as they drove by...

54. I recently came to the conclusion that I hate thong underwear and haven't worn a pair in months.
55. I have an intense interest in ancient Egypt.
56. I named my dog after the famous Egyptologist Howard Carter.
57. Sometimes I kid that I was an Egyptian queen in a past life - perhaps Nefertari.
58. I hate when guys call me a 'nubian queen' it's the corniest thing ever and I immediately lose all interest in them.
59. Thankfully this hasn't happened in a long time.
60. When I was 20 I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans with my best friend and her college roommates.
61. I didn't flash anyone but STILL got tons of beads.
62. I like cupcakes.
63. I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
64. I've always wanted to have at least 2 children. One boy and one girl.
65. I'd love to have twins so I can just deal with the pain once and get it over with.
66. But for the longest time (since I was about 16...well before it was a trend) I've known that I would also love to adopt a child. Specifically a girl orphaned by HIV/AIDS from Ethiopia (again, I've wanted to do this well before Angelina did. I swear. I will share the story of this later).
67. My hair is natural...though I wear it straight most of the time.
68. I'm 5' 6 1/2" which is fairly tall for a girl I think.

70. I'm not a dog person. I actually don't like them. However...
71. I have a 9 month old puppy.
72. His name is Howard and he's part Bichon Frise part Toy Poodle.
73. Don't ask me how this happened.
74. I still live at home.
75. I don't have a car.
76. I haven't spoken to my 'father' in 14 years...or maybe it's 12.
77. I can't remember what the first concert I saw was but for some reason I think it was P.Diddy when he was known as Puff Daddy (or was it Puffy?) along with some other Bad Boy artists.
78. I have too many favourite movies to narrow it down but if I had to I'd probably pick Coming to America, Ghost and Shawshank Redemption...but I also enjoy Waiting To Exhale, Primal Fear, Brewster's Millions, Corrina Corrina, Crash and several others that I can't even think of.
79. I love the word serendipity - it just sounds like a happy word. Like it should be the name of a disney movie.
80. I also like the movie Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.
81. My teen years were a lot "wilder" than my 20s have been - sometimes I think that's a bit sad.
82. If I could have dinner with any 3 people it'd be Angelina Jolie (of course!), Dr. Zahi Hawass and...ahhh...
83. I hate feet. I have a whole foot thing. I don't like other peoples feet touching me. The idea of standing in a shower where someone else has stood totally grosses me out - which means when I travel I bring flip flops to wear in the shower. The thought of walking around a pool among puddles of water that other peoples feet have been also grosses me out.
84. I never sit on public toilet seats. I squat - which I think of as a mini-workout for my legs.
85. I also never touch anything in public bathrooms - I wrap paper around my hand to turn on the faucet...use my foot to flush the toilet etc.
86. I never take the 'first' of anything - I always take the one in the back. This applies to just about everything: magazines, books, food, bottles of pop/water at the store, clothes, nail polish, accessories, squares of toilet paper on the roll..heck even things that don't go on or in my body and it also applies to things that are packaged/boxed. Yup, just about everything.

88. My front right tooth very slightly overlaps the left one. Just a bit. It has never really bothered me but sometimes I wonder if it can be adjusted without braces. Braces seems like a bit of a waste for a small overlap that really isn't that noticeable.
89. I usually don't smile for photos...not because of my teeth. It's just that when I know it's being taken it looks fake and/or forced when I do.
90. I read a shit load of magazines a month including, but not limited to, Marie Claire, Essence, In Style, Canadian House and Home, Style at Home and Domino.
91. Only recently, in the past year or so, did I watch Breakfast at Tiffany's...and I missed some parts.
92. I didn't really see the big deal. Maybe I missed the good parts.
93. I'm a virgo.
94. My feet are anywhere from size 9 - 11...depending on the style of the shoe.
95. I have a small patch of grey hair right in the front of my head but depending on how I wear my hair (bangs or not) you can't tell.
96. Sometime I dye it - otherwise I cover it with old mascara (sounds weird but the mascara wand is the perfect size!)
97. Other times I don't care and think it adds character. Sometimes I wish it would just grown in like Rogues. I mean - go big or go home right? If it's gonna be there may as well make a statement I say.
98. I can't wait to fall in love. Like, real real love. Forever kinda love.
99. When I was 11 I broke the bone in my elbow by jumping out of a tree. Bad landing.
