a few weeks ago i came across this quote. i thought it was fitting to post now since we are all gung ho on getting this new year off to a great start:
since i'm going to be 28 this year i thought i'd come up with a list of 28 things i'd like to do this year. goals and resolutions. i'm also going to come up with a plan for each...because a goal without a plan is just a wish...and i don't want to be just a wisher. in 2009 i want to be a doer.
i thought i'd share a few my goals for 2009 here with you (plan not shown!).
they say the more people you tell the likely you are to actually do whatever it is because - you don't want to look like that person who just talks a big game and never follows through. i guess i have a fair amount of people who can now hold me accountable (please be nice about it though, okay?).
as you can see i'm missing 5 things...what are your goals/resolutions for the year? maybe i can borrow some...
*(goal #2) just so you’re aware i’m not overweight or anything like that. i’m actually not sure what i weigh since i haven’t stepped on a scale in a while but i’m 5’ 7” and probably between 145-155. size 8/9...is that overweight? at any rate, i would like to get back to a 6 though i haven’t been there in at least two years. i just want to lose the weight. so yes - that’s just to clear things up in case you were wondering...

Great list!! I have a 101 in 1001 list on my blog and I have been slowly ticking the items off...some are scary!! but some are little and silly.
Is there something that you have been "meaning to do" and just haven't gotten around to it? Something that you used to love as a kid, but never do it now? Those are good ideas for things to put on the to do list.

good list! I LOVE that quote about a goal without a plan just being a wish... my family usually laughs at me when i'm making "plans" that they think are to far-fetched.. ah vell! haha But they totally don't laugh when those things become reality. :)
